Gibraltar is a VAT free destination and a a duty free shopper's paradise. Particularly good buys include tobacco, perfume, cosmetics and alcohol which can be found along Main Street. Leather goods, luggage, as well as pearl and gold jewellery are also good investment pieces.

The pedestrianised Main Street, Gibraltar's principal shopping thoroughfare, runs almost the length of town and the shops are filled with goods at attractive prices. A number of small shopping alleys branch off Main Street and if you enjoy bargain hunting you will find some interesting price comparisons here. For the experienced shopper, many stores are open to negotiation.
